Certificate Training
Program
The Astrology Institute provides in-depth
astrology classes and workshops for personal growth and
professional development. Students receive a comprehensive
working knowledge of astrological symbols, a strong
foundation in understanding and using one's own chart, and
training in using astrology responsibly and effectively to
help others. Courses integrate traditional techniques and
modern, and incorporate psychological and spiritual
components of astrological understanding.
Classes may be taken individually or as part of the
certification program for those wishing to become
professional counseling astrologers. This curriculum is also
designed to cover the material required for certification
with the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR).
The program is designed for beginners, anyone wishing to
strengthen their understanding of the basic chart
components, and to strengthen their interpretation and
consultation skills.
Classes include hands-on focused exercises and practice to
build skills.

How It Works
Each month, except for the summer, group
meetings are on two weeknights (for 2003-2004, Wednesdays),
and one 10-4 workshop on a weekend day. During the summer,
one day workshop is scheduled as part of the program. Other
summer courses are optional.
Cost for each module is a sliding scale, $185-135, and is
paid for on a "per module" basis. Each course is one to
four modules. If you cannot attend a meeting, you are
provided the cassette tape of the session and copies of any
handouts or overheads that we use.
